Rainbow Turtle AGM 2020

You are cordially invited to Rainbow Turtle’s AGM on 6th October 2020 at 7pm. To attend our online meeting please sign up here.

The meeting will provide you with an opportunity to hear about the charity’s progress during 2019/20, its financial position as of 31/3/20 and members will have the chance to elect the board of trustees for the coming 12 months. Once you have registered for the meeting you will be contacted closer to the date about joining instructions.

Following the business portion of the AGM we will be delighted to welcome Tracy Mitchell, managing director of JTS Fair Food Fine Food, as our guest speaker. She will be talking about “JTS – The Global Pandemic And The Supply Chains”. After her talk there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

Recycling for Good Causes

As you may know, Rainbow Turtle is a charity but our shop isn’t a traditional charity shop. Everything we sell is new, and has been produced or grown by people who are paid fairly for their work, and are often the people most in need in the world.

This means that everything you buy at Rainbow Turtle – from tea and coffee to jewellery and toys – helps people all over the world.

But did you know our charity can still benefit from donations of your unwanted items? Instead of selling them on, we collect your old phones, laptops, jewellery (even costume or broken jewellery), foreign or UK currency (including out of circulation coins and notes), gadgets like sat navs and MP3 players, and used stamps, and send them off to Recycling for Good Causes. In return, we get a cheque for Rainbow Turtle!
